Massage FAQ
What should I wear?
The choice is entirely up to you, but there are a few common approaches:
-
Underwear On: Most clients choose to leave their underwear on, while others may prefer to remove it.
-
Nude: Some prefer to be completely unclothed, which is perfectly fine as you'll always be properly draped.
-
Bras: For full-body treatments, women typically remove their bras so the therapist can work smoothly across the back and shoulders without getting massage lotion on the straps
What if I fall asleep?
It's completely normal and welcome! It is common for clients to drift in and out of sleep as the body unwinds.
Should I talk or be quiet?
This time is entirely yours. Some people love to chat or vent, while others prefer to zone out in complete silence. Please feel free to do whatever helps you relax the most—I am perfectly happy to follow your lead.
Can I get a massage if I am sick?
Please reschedule. Your body needs rest. Massage increases circulation, which can overwhelm an already stressed immune system and make your illness much worse. Also, staying home helps protect others by reducing the spread of contagious germs.
Sound Healing FAQ
What is Sound Healing and how does it work?
Sound Healing, also called Sound Therapy or a Sound Bath, is a deeply relaxing wellness experience where a variety of instruments create soothing tones and vibrations that gently "bathe" you in sound. This can help quiet your nervous system, slow the heart rate, and reduce your stress response. In this relaxed state, your body has an easier time releasing tension and restoring balance.
What should I wear?
Please wear whatever is comfortable. Most clients choose to wear loose, comfy warm clothing.
*If you are attending the public sound healing event, there are yoga mats, blankets and bolsters there but you are welcome to bring extra pillows, blankets or anything else that helps you lie comfortably for the length of the session.
Can I move around during the session? Do I have to hold still?
You are welcome to shift, stretch or change positions. Many clients choose to rest on their back or side-lie.
It's completely normal and welcome! It is common for clients to drift in and out of sleep as the body unwinds.

Meditation FAQ
What is guided meditation and what does it do?
My guided meditation sessions are one-on-one, personalized sessions. Leading you through a custom meditation practice tailored to you, helping you focus and achieve a state of deep relaxation. It can significantly reduce stress, improve sleep quality, ease symptoms of anxiety and depression, and lengthen your attention span.
What if I can't relax or clear my mind?
A wandering mind is not a failure. Your brain is naturally designed to generate thoughts, and it is impossible to turn them off completely. Meditation is about noticing when you get lost in your thoughts, observing them without judgment, and kindly returning your attention to the present moment.
Do I have to sit cross-legged on the floor?
You don't have to be in a certain position to meditate. Just be comfortable.
Do I need to be spiritual or religious to practice?
Meditation is a practical tool for training the brain and nervous system to be more present and mindful. It does not require any specific religious or spiritual beliefs.
